I was able to move right next to the window...
and closer...Only when we went outside it flew up on our garage...
My Buddy tried to have the bird come down on his hand...We think it wanted to, so we think this bird was not wild. Even Bella wanted the bird to come down...
Here's Bella wishing the bird would come down...
Does anyone know if this was a Dove? It did fly away. We really wished we could have caught it ~ thinking it was someone's missing pet...
Post Script: The sighting of a white dove means~ Peace. It was a very warm feeling that a white dove decided to visit us out of the blue tonite. I hope to makes it appearance again...

Looks like a white dove to me too!
OH~~~ Gigi what a wonderful unexpected visitor. I am so glad this dove decided to visit you tonight. About what time did you get your visitor?
Hugs,
ginger
Hi Ginger~ It must have appeared at about 7:30 EST, because I took the pictures & downloaded them onto my blog right after.
Hi Jackie & Kelly~ Yes I think it was a dove! And yes, I do feel it was a lucky sighting. Thank you for leaving a comment.
Hugs
I thought "dove" the first I saw your picture. Soooo pretty.
That dove is so beautiful! What a wonderful visit to have! I hope it brings all good things to you and your family!! xoxo Heather
Yes, it is a dove. Congrats!
How weird is this? We've been having a pair of gray doves hanging out around the house the last week or so. We used to have some around, prior to getting Howie, but they left, probably from his barking at them.
Beautiful! It certainly looks like a dove to me. Hopefully it will make another peaceful appearance soon!
It is a White Dove - we have one as a pet. They are so gentle & sweet. They attach theselves to a favorite human & gives them kisses & gentle pecks - mine burrows down on my chest and sleeps peacefully. Ours makes my day - enjoy!
Oh, so pretty! What a nice visitor to have. My birder son thinks it might be an albino rock dove, or, if not albino, some color variant of the rock dove (he can't quite tell the eye color from the photos), or a white Eurasian dove. :)
While visiting my FIL in DE one year, we had a rock dove (a.k.a. pigeon) visitor too. It was a homing pigeon (with something tied to its legs, in fact), and it was one tired bird. We gave it some water and food, and it gave us a fluorescent green poop in return. LOL! "Charlie" stayed half a day, took a nap, and then flew home, we assume.
