I would love this cute~ sweet award go to Teresa who always has such a fun & interesting blog to follow~ filled with homesteading tips from garden harvests to even making paper. Her family is truly a hands on family on her beautiful homestead....
During the last several days...my husband & I finalized the purchase of a waterfront home, that one day may be our retirement home...Here are several pics of our first night/day on the water....
Our backyard as we watched our first sunset...
Moving "stuff" in...but we forgot one thing...
Oops...a coffee cup...my husband had to have his coffee in a wine glass from the night before...
The dogs head out to see the morning ducks...
Before we left I placed a fall wreath on the front door... hopefully the granddaughters will be with us next weekend. We can't wait to sit on the dock with them & fish & feed the morning ducks...
I hope everyone has a wonderful week!

Do the puppies bark and scare the ducks? What a beautiful sight in your new back yard.
Oh my Gigi, what a lovely place. I am looking forward to seeing more of your home on the water.
My new blog is now at http://inthelandofthelivingskiesii.blogspot.com
Blogger and I had a slight difference of opinion on whether someone was hacking into my blog. Guess blogger won, I had to start a new one.
God bless.
Congratulations on your award and your beautiful new lake home. The place looks wonderful, I'm sure you will enjoy it and the grandkids too :)
The view from your waterfront home looks like pure heaven!
LOL about your husband drinking coffee from a wine glass! That reminds me, I'd better go have my coffee before noon or I won't be able to sleep tonight.
Thank you SO much for the award, {{{{Carrie-Gigi}}}}!! I feel so loved! Can I be the one in the purple dress with the red hat? Those are my favorite colors. ;)
The fall wreath is gorgeous. I need to get a wreath up on my door (but usually, I don't get around to it until mid-December).
Oh wow. absolutely loving your new place. So serene. I want to crawl inside the picture and watch the sunset in person.
Congratulations!
XOXO
What a breath taking view of the sunset Gigi, it is just amazing. I hope you have fun moving in and making your nest. Enjoy your grandchildren when they visit, I am sure they will start memories that will last a life time. HEY! Coffee in a wine cup I will have to try that!
