2011 Holiday gift jar project |
Ever since my grand girlies could hold a pen, glue stick, scissors, or measuring cup- we've always looked forward to doing a holiday project today- AND this year was no different.
This years's project was "Gift in a Jar" Chocolate Chip Pancake Mix.
Easy ingredient list:
-Ball jars with lids
-Complete pancake mix (just add water type)
-Chocolate chips
-Tags for directions
-Ribbon to attach tags
Base ingredients |
Almost done! Holiday Gift Jars ready for giving... Post Script: The grand girlies found that separating the chips from the pancake batter was almost impossible (for layers), but depending on other ingredients layering affect can be achieved easily. AND HOLIDAY GIVE AWAYS! (go enter- it's free!) 1. HERE from Teresa at Raising our Own blog. She's doing a give away of your choice of 1. Whispering Willow Natural Laundry soap, or 2. Fun idea & I love that you had so much help from your sweet grand girlies!
My little granddaughters are now 3 yrs. and 5 months, and there is talk that Mommy, Daddy & the babies are considering moving back to Colorado. My fingers are crossed - I would love to do some projects like this with them when they are a little older!
Hope you all have a lovely week!
Hugs,
Zuzu
