When we purchased our weekend home on the water I told myself I would NEVER be one to decorate with "shore" items- have collections of sea shells, etc...

But I soon learned that living on the water easily takes you into it's beautiful nature, wildlife, calming winds and changing shores...

SO the above pictures are a (small) collection in my home that I said I'd NEVER have... (smile)...

SECOND--- What beautiful morning on Fishing Creek-- with 3 inches of fresh snow before 7 a.m. I found my snow boots and took some pics... It's a bit later in the day ~ and the snow is already melting...

It's not suppose to snow in this little town nestled near the Eastern Shore... Last night soon one inch turned to two, two into four~ and more! When we moved I tossed my snow boots away~ but today I hijacked my hubby's~ thought I'd take a pic of them (boots!) just in case you needed a last minute Christmas idea (smile)....

River runneth over....

It wasn't raining, it wasn't windy~ so I really can't explain why the water on our river front(okay creek) was so darn high! Couple more inches & it would have been half way up the yard & maybe into my studio-YIKES!
